A fantastic weekend for the club saw us post 6 wins and a draw across all competitions. Headlining the weekend were wins for both of our first teams as they remain unbeaten to continue to pile pressure on the top positions in the league. However, this weekend was one for the women, as our Jaspers teams posted 4 wins on the same weekend for the first time - scoring a staggering 15 goals with only 1 conceded!
An extended weekend also saw our mixed team make their first foray onto the competitive circuit on, with a successful Sunday drive to Cheltenham in the cup.

Mid Somerset 1 [2-0] Bristol & West 3
3’s lost 2-0, tough game and had our fair share of chances but just couldn’t find the back of the net. The lady umpire took a shine to Alex Law and blew just about every challenge against him! John decided to help her out in the first half by proclaiming one of their feet in the D-result- 🟢 Despite the result good performances all round with honourable mentions to Jordan for some great keeping, Neil for some great picks in defence, and Jack for hitting the post in his first game for us.

6s lost 0-1, right at the death again, 2 minutes to go. A great performance against top of the table Westbury 3s. The young lads Sam and Joe played well again. Wayne Manton was awesome in goal today. “What do we have to do to score” was all we heard from the oppo for most of the game. Nonetheless Joe’s confident performance edged Man of the Match. No goals /assists! DoD - Phil Brocklehurst. A sterling performance at the back- and then that green card! 🟩

A fantastic first outing in the cup for our mixed team saw us face a very strong Cheltenham side. A hat-trick from Dan Lusmore and an awesome team goal finished by Matt Fish saw us progress to the next round.
