The first of the Under 12 festivals went ahead over the last weekend at Yate.
The rain stayed off thankfully all bar a brief shower and for the remainder we were blessed with sun.
The team did really well, considering they’ve
never played on half a pitch,
never played with a goal keeper,
never played a short corners before!
Even more amazing is the goalkeeper had never had kit on before and 5 of the children there probably have less than 15 hours of hockey experience between them!!
The main thing was the children and parents enjoyed it.
